End all family feuds (or even roommate scuffles) when you pull this beauty out of the oven. Cook times may vary depending on your oven.
Ingredients
  • 1 unbaked pie shell (9 inches)
  • 2 eggs
  • ⅔ cup flour
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar
  • 1½ sticks butter, softened and cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1½ cups semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. As the oven heats, crack the eggs, removing the chalazae (those stringy white bits). Beat the eggs in a large mixing bowl with a whisk or electric mixer until frothy. Beat in flour and sugars, then gradually beat in the butter, stirring in just a few chunks at a time until all are combined. Fold in the chocolate chips. Pour batter into pie shell.
  2. Bake for 50-55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
