Even the most diehard fans can admit that Glee has had its plotline highs and lows — season one had us convinced we’d never stop believin’, while last season made us wonder why we were still watchin’. Then, as Glee reinvented itself yet again for its sixth and final season, it went totally rogue. It did what it wanted (case in point: the Saw-inspired Sue Sylvester doll). And it worked.

Whether you couldn’t watch an episode after the loss of Cory Monteith, or you happily enjoyed every high — and low — note, you know you’ve got to see how it all ends.

In honor of the show’s final episode, airing March 20th at 8 p.m. ET, we planned out a little last-minute watch party:

EAT:

  • Fondue for Two (Or Queso Por Dos) — Melt one package of shredded sharp white cheddar cheese with one 8-ounce package of cream cheese. Drain excess juices from a can of diced green chiles, then stir the chiles into the queso. Serve with broccoli and cauliflower florets, cocktail weiners, and breadsticks for dipping.
  • Mini Grilled Cheesus Sandwiches
  • Breadsticks (in honor of the show’s favorite restaurant, of course)
  • Rachel Berry’s “I’m Sorry” sugar cookies — Cut sugar cookie dough into star shapes, bake, and once cool, frost with pink icing and pipe “I’m sorry” across them.
  • Chocolate Marshmallow Cheerios Treats

Or if you’re feeling lazy: A mixing bowl filled with half a gallon of milk and Lucky Charms (Sam would approve)

DRINK:

  • Strawberry Slushies
  • Spiked Limeade Slushies — Blend one 6-ounce can frozen limeade, 6 ounces of tequila and 3 cups of ice until you reach a slushy-like consistency.

WEAR:

  • Buttondown + cardigan (or vest) + skinny tie + jeans = Shuester
  • Knee highs + mini skirt + loafers + cap-sleeve (or Peter Pan-collared) tee = Rachel Berry
  • Adidas tracksuit, preferably red = Sue Slyvester
  • Checkered shirt + bow tie + skinny chinos + gobs of hair gel = Blaine
  • Curly high ponytail + pleated skirt + red and white windbreaker = Cheerios (take your pick)

PLAY:

  • Before the episode: Have everyone write down what they think will happen in the episode on slips of paper, then host a dramatic reading of them afterward to see who was closest
    • And while you’re at, have everyone write on another slip of paper what the last line of the show will be (and who will say it)
  • During the episode: Take a drink any time someone mentions (a) Breadstix, (b) fake pregnancies, (c) Shue’s hair, (d) Blaine’s hair and (e) Lord Tubbington, or whenever (a) Kurt is called something other than his name, (b) Tina is insulted, (c) Mercedes rolls her eyes, (d) Rachel looks pained while singing.
  • After the episode: Watch the very first episode. Because there’s nothing like the juxtaposition of the two to see how the show has changed over the years.
