The January 2014 Cooking Challenge

Why hello, 2014. It’s a new year, a new semester — and, if you’re anything like us, a chance to recommit to cooking more and dining out less (our wallets — and muffin tops — are really begging us on this one). So, in honor of a fresh beginning, we’re launching something new at Collegiate Cook, and we hope you’ll jump in on it:

The January 2014 Cooking Challenge.

Download a PDF of the calendar here.

As you can see from the calendar, little challenges (and rewards!) are sprinkled throughout the month, designed to help you get focused on making extra money and boosting your sweet, sweet culinary skillz. (Yes, ‘z.’ Always with a ‘z.’)

Be sure to include #CollegiateCook in any tweets or Instagrams, so we can shamelessly stalk, like & RT you.

Here are the recipes you’ll need this month:

January 5th: Overnight Oats

January 7th: Crazy Easy Fried Rice

January 11th: No-Bake Chocolate Truffles

January 15th: Guiltless Baked Sweet Potato Fries

January 23rd: Spicy, Cheesy Black Bean Dip

January 28th: Homemade Balsamic Vinaigrette

January 31st: Bacon-wrapped Dates and Fruit Salsa with Homemade Baked Cinnamon Chips
