Catch a break on tax day: Freebies & Discounts

prod_cupcakegiftboxes

If you spend full-price on anything on tax day, you’re doing it wrong.

It’s become a holiday of sorts — you toil through your taxes, and companies reward you for all that cash you’ve spent on them throughout the year with a discounted deal or freebie. (Hey, at least they’re giving you something, right?)

Tip: Just to save you some time, call your local stores to find out if they’re participating, and if they require any coupons or have a specific time frame for redeeming the offer.

In honor of penniless college students, frugal shoppers and all-around deal seekers, here’s a roundup of all the discounts you can snag on Thursday, April 15:

UPDATE: Select TGI Friday’s locations are giving away $5 giftcards for purchases between $15-$25 today, and $10 giftcards if your purchase is over $25! Call to find out if your restaurant is taking part in the promotion.
